I did try to hardlink the /var/lib/postgres dir to the 32gb sandisk drive, but that didn't work out well - and still a bandaid solution. I could use a sandisk memory card in the built in slot but that would drastically effect disk write speeds. Also, I am using a pcie 16gb ssd drive on the apu board with blazing results. Throwing more disk space at it to me seems like a bandaid and not a solution. I pm'd you some results of a few things, but I did not wait 24 hours as jcoffin mentioned above, so I will see tomorrow I I realize 16GB is crazy small, but i have been working at 60% utilization for the last 2 years and then this drastic disk utilization increase. I have been forwarding my logs to a local syslog server to retain info, but stopped for the sake of troubleshooting / process of Totally agree with that flush button. I was using the latest firmware as of a month thanks. This started occurring in the last month. My daily disk usage went from about 50mb a day to 800mb that always seems to accumulate. I have been using my "micro setup" (APU board + ssd) for years without issue. The increase posted above was within hours from the re-install. Untangle needs to either go back to the old support model, or fix the automation so we don't have this problem. are you saying that only paying users should have working databases? With UT support closing tickets without resolution, we can't tell people to just let UT support handle it anymore either. So when an admin runs out of space, he can simply reduce retention and dump NOW.ĭatabases don't survive hitting zero, waiting isn't an acceptable approach, and yet without SSH that's the only option we have. This is why in another thread I suggested a button in reports that would force processing NOW, to prune data to the retention value configured. Once a system starts alerting due to limited drive space you don't always have 24 hours to wait.
